Just the idea of a guy dressed as a fish is enough to get this a 2. Unfortunately, that's all I could see fit to give ya. The pacing is way off.
I totally disagree with you on your assessment of the pacing. But i can live with it.
OK, I read it over again, with the music this time, and I still gotta say that it's pretty off. The only lines that matched were the first two carp-dressed man ones. The other ones all have different numbers of syllables in them. Some of 'em you can hide if ya cram a few syllables together. Go and listen for yourself.
Where exactly are the fish? Are they attached to his chin, or do they hang down to his chin? Are they tied to his head? Glued? Pasted? And what kind of carp? Fancy, showy goldfish type or something plain like a herring? (Are herring carp; I don't even know?) Pretty funny, actually, in a Zen way, but there are some pacing flaws unless my memory is way off.
Bad, bad typing on my part--the line should read "He had fish on his chin, all the way down to his SHIN." THAT makes much more sense. I also flubbed "He wore A hat". Screw it---some days are diamonds, and some days...
