I thought the pacing was off. I mean, there are more verses in the original ("When he gets in scrapes, he makes his escape..."), so I give a low grade for pacing.

You seem to have misunderstood. The author of this parody was parodying Weird Al's version of "Geroge of the Jungle." Choosing the original performer is one thing, but making a mistake is another. How old are you anyways, three?
