The Lyrics

Rick Duncan encouraged me to post "Hump" after I posted a comment on Rick's parody "Stump", which can be found at: http://www.amiright.com/parody/80s/vanhalen25.shtml ..... In the comments-section of his parody "Stump", Rick said that he had read that David Lee Roth had taken out a "debauchery" insurance policy with Lloyds of London, protecting him from paternity lawsuits....that's what led to this parody, "Hump".
I paid up
To Lloyds of London-town

I bought enough
To fend-off gold-diggin' clowns

Is that my---baby?
He's got my buns!

She's gonna call-all-all-up my lawyer,
To get at my funds!

Oh can't you see me standing here
With groupies back behind the soda machine?

I ain't afraid of these teens,
'Cause Lloyds of London's my screen!

Might as well hump! (HUMP!)
Might as well hump!
Go ahead, hump! (HUMP!)
Go ahead an' hump!

Oh no, she sued?
How 'bout that!
Call-up Lloyd's for me!

I say I'm cov-ered, so cov-ered
I get off scot-free!

Well can't you see me standing here
With Lloyd's of London's President's daughter Jean?

She ain't the worst that I've seen!
That Jean's one premium teen!

Might as well hump! (HUMP!)
Might as well hump!
Go ahead, hump! (HUMP!)
Go ahead an' hump!

(instrumental)

Might as well hump! (HUMP!)
Might as well hump!
Go ahead, hump! (HUMP!)
Go ahead an' hump!

The article I read about that was years ago when Van Halen was big. He probably can't afford the premiums now. You can tell how egotistical someone is by the size of their signature. Roth's is THE BIGGEST I'VE EVER SEEN! (Signature, that is)

I just love the concept of "debauchery insurance" - gives a whole new feeling to the phrase "safe sex", doesn't it?
