Parody Song Title:

"I'm Not a Girl, But I'm Free Fallin'"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

This is kinda like the parody, "Werewolves of Alabama," if you remember that one (I forgot who wrote that one). Anyway, Tom Petty's Free Fallin' has the same chords (or almost the same chords) as Britney Spears's quasi-anthem, "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman." Enjoy!
I'm not a girl, but love my mama
Love Jesus and America too
And it feels like I'm caught in the middle
And that is when I will realize.....

There is no need to protect me
It's time that I learn to face up to this on my own
I've seen so much more than you know now
So don't tell me to shut my eyes

Chorus
I'm not a girl, I'm free fallin'
I'm not a girl, I'm free fallin'

All the vampires walkin' through the valley
Know that all I need is some time
And I also need a moment that is mine
I'm not a girl, nor am I a woman

(Repeat Chorus)

But if you look at me closely
You will see it in my eyes
This girl will always find her way

(Repeat Chorus)

(And I'm Free!) I'm not a girl, don't tell me what to believe
(Free Fallin'!) I'm just trying to find the woman in me, yeah
(I'm not a girl!) Free fallin', now I'm free fallin'
(Not yet a woman) Free fallin', now I'm free fallin'
While I'm in between
I'm not a girl (Free fallin', now I'm free fallin') not yet a woman,
(Free fallin', now I'm free fallin') no no
All I need is time, a moment that is mine
While I'm in between
I'm not a girl, ooh
Not yet a woman
And I'm free
Free Fallin'

(Repeat indefinitely)

That's cool. I am thinking of doing one called Free Ballin' or something...

I wanted to do "Street Pollin'": "You a good girl? Do you love your mama?" and so on. It was really lame and I dumped it. And the Duke of Tong beat me to "Recallin'." Billy Florio's "Sleep Walkin'" was pretty good, but the best all-time parody of this is Claude's immortal "Skee Ballin'." Ah, sweet memories of the Jersey Shore.

Funny, but work on the pacing.
