The Lyrics

Finally ! My first Harry-Potter themed parody! Made possible by finding somthing to rhyme with "Gryffindor"!(Well, almost !) By the way ,this is a song about Ron being a great sidekick and best friend.
He is your best friend
Right from day one
When you met on that train after leaving the Dursleys
The fun had begun
.
You'll start a new life now
With Gryffindor
With your best friend right there by your side,he's just like
"Riker" or "Worf"
.
Ron Weasley,Your best friend
You can see,he's there to the end (he's there to the end)
.
Malfoy dissed Hermoine
Called her "Mudblood"
Ron defended her honor with wand all a-blazing,
now he's spitting up slugs!
.
You dealt with those spiders
at home where they lurk
Through it all,Ron was there like the best sidekick since
"Iolaus" met "Herc"!
.
Ron Weasley,(he is)Your best friend
You can see,he's there to the end (he's there to the end)
.
He won't get the girl now
No way,not by far!
Those two holding hands won't detract from the fact that-
Harry's the STAR !
.
Don't pity poor Weasley
'Cause those two are still cool.
Ron Weasley will return in another hit movie-
-'cause he is no fool!
.
(Oh-no,oh-no!)
Ron Weasley ,your best friend
You can see,he's there to the end (he's there to the end)
And so ends my first H.P. parody! Enjoy!

No worries,Arwen. The original song was something I remember hearing OVER and OVER back when they played music over the T.V. listings on Cablevisions' channel 14. I had one other parody down on paper of the Human Leagues' "Don't you want me,baby" called "Malfoy and Hermoine". But first ,I'm going into the 80's listings to make sure that more peolple know the original song! Thanks a bunch for the comments. (T.T.P. managed !)

Hey, this deserves a lot more votes. I liked it, it really flows with the original tune. Good job, TTP. I remember the original song, and I can confirm that TTP nailed it.
