Parody Song Title:

"Gordon Brown"

Parody Written by:

Gav Powell

As the UK's esteemed chancellor sees his good friend Mr Blair (aided by ever faithful Alastair Campbell) elected once again in 2005, one begins to feel he's going to miss his chance for the Labour leadership. Unless he acts fast...
Gordon Brown, texture like sun
With the leadership off Tony runs
Try as he might
Can't stand and fight
Ever a frown, that's Gordon Brown

'97, that's in the past
Blair's still here, but he'll never last
Dubyah's demands
Tie Tony's hands
Fat man with frown, that's Gordon Brown

Gordon Brown settled for less
Through the years his plan's going west
Campbell must pay
Screws the UK
Naught but a frown, from Gordon Brown

(Ever a frown) ever a frown (ever a frown)

(Ever a frown) With Gordon Brown (with Gordon Brown)...

Nice one about our PM-in-waiting...

DKTOS, but I don't think Mr. Blair has much to worry about until he decided to leave office by his own choice. Unless, of course... and I realize how much this sounds like the title of a Herman's Hermits parody... Mr. Brown, he knows the Duke of Gloucester. (The former title of Richard III.)

Most amusing. I particularly like the line: 'Fat man with frown, that's Gordon Brown' Sums him up perfectly, methinks.
