Parody Song Title:

"Tainted Mooninite"

Parody Written by:

Yesterday, a city-wide panic was set off in Boston, MA, when citizens noticed numerous curious blue-glowing cartoon figures attached to billboards, bridge overpasses, etc. in heavy traffic areas. The city government went into its highest state of alert as police dispatched bomb disposal squads, closed bridges, a major highway, and even the Coast Guard closed the Charles River. It turned out that it was part of Turner Broadcasting's Cartoon Network's advertising campaign to promote the show, "Aqua Teen Hunger Force." The cartoon figures, called "mooninites," are described as "outer space juvenile delinquents" which obscenely hold up the middle finger occasionally. Two young men were arrested and charged with perpetrating a hoax. During their arraignment, they appeared quite amused. Perhaps they were wondering why people would think that any terrorist would make such colorful lighted "bombs" and place 'em in full view of thousands. Or, maybe they were laughing about the mooninites' flippin' the bird?
Walking home in the Boston rain
Blood runs cold in my veins
It's like news from Pauly Shore
Blue mooninites like never before

The mooninite is new
The mooninite is flippin' FU
The mooninite is blue
The mooninite is cruel
Tainted mooninite

Coming to the rescue
Bomb squad from the WOT world
The mooninites may blow up any time today
So the news and government say
Running to the rescue
Security choppers flying up above
Panic around the bay
While the Boston natives pray
For end to the tainted mooninite

I drain my lizard and down my lithium
When lIfe's lived in fear why fear the end?
They wanna' make us so scared, so dumb
Those pinheads from the corporate scum

The mooninite is new
The mooninite is flippin' FU
The mooninite is blue
The mooninite is cruel
Tainted mooninite

Coming to the rescue
Bomb squad from the WOT world
The mooninites may blow up any time today
So the news and government say
Running to the rescue
Security choppers flying up above
Panic around the bay
While the Boston natives pray
For end to the tainted mooninite

Tainted mooninite
Tainted mooninite
Ooooooh
Tainted mooninite

Coming to the rescue
Bomb squad from the WOT world
The mooninites may blow up any time today
So the news and government say
Running to the rescue
Security choppers flying up above
Panic around the bay
While the Boston natives pray
For end to the tainted mooninite

Tainted mooninite
Tainted mooninite
Tainted mooninite
Ooooooh
Tainted mooninite
Tainted mooninite

You would think people learned a lesson from the War of the Worlds broadcast in 1938. A play made millions of people think the country was being invaded. The wrong thing at the wrong time makes people paranoid.

I can't believe I haven't seen you around before, with parody writing skills of this nature, it's rare to see someone that hasn't reached the ten parody level. . .very good job here. . .to 2Eagle, sometimes I think people want to be paranoid. . .that's why the news channels and trash news sites stay up and running. . .your comments are dead on.
