I heard of Liberace since viewing a PBS show about him.
Bobby Darin Sang Mack The Knife.
Frank Sinatra sang Mack the Knife, Bobby Darrin was mentioned in the lyrics...Did Bobby Darrin sing a version also?
I have never heard of this guy, but I give you all 5s on this parody
Liberace and George Liberace are NOT THE SAME PERSON. George was a bandleader who played violin. George wore fairly conservative suits, and in later years made his living playing Northern California resorts along the Russian River. He was also a movie host at KMUV TV, channel 31, in Sacramento. Wladziu Liberace, known as just "Liberace", was a pianist who played solo, wore extravagant costumes, and was the highest paid entertainer in Vegas for years. He also made a movie, "Forever Yours" in the 1950s.
george was the brother of the pianist, think you got them mixed up here. yes he did record mack the knife but not well known for it, darrin was the original recorder then sinatra on capitol. liberace (waldziu ) wass better known for boogie woogie and i can give u anything but love (Jimmy Mchugh) so on and so on..... his gershwin medely was fantastic, he also wrote a song called never say goodbye say ciao! haha!, hes was americas highest payed entertainer for many years running and still holds to this day the 'fastest piano player in the world' record, sadily he died in feb 87, people like elton john and danny la rue totaly based themselfs on his costumes n style on stage. Sued the ass out of us here in england in 57 and said to the press outside the court room "ill cry all the way to the bank!" haha! thats all folks!
dude, george is liberace's brother...
543 for mistaking him for his brother.
