Parody Song Title:

"Bring It On Again"

Parody Written by:

I really love watching Cheerleaders in action - they're wonderful with the tosses and tumbles that they do! Sometimes I watch them on ESPN. I also like movies about Cheerleaders, which is why I own Sugar & Spice and Bring It On. Recently, I got Bring It On Again as well. It's a great movie, but has a whole new cast. Instead of Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku, and Jesse Bradford, it has some lesser famous stars. The main star is Anne Judson-Yager as Whittier Smith. Bree Turner plays Tina Hammersmith, the captain of the Varsity Squad (who has a very close resemblance to Britney Spears!) Joie Lenz plays Marni, another member of the Varsity Squad. In the tryouts, Tina makes Whittier take her belly ring out immediately. She also won't let her be friends with Monica, her roommate that has saved her since High School or Derek the DJ that she meets late at night outside her window. While Tina sees that Whittier could potentially be future captain, she's also so mean at commanding orders to the members of the squad. Therefore, Whittier resigns and decides to start her own squad - The Renegades!
It used to seem to me that my life ran on too fast
And my cheer squad worked so hard now just to make the good times last
But when you're born to cheer you just have to yell so loud
So don't be surprised to see me when I'm with the college crowd

Oh these cheers I will bring on again
I will jump so high today and then tumble and spin
Oh these cheers I will bring on again
I can go to nationals and help my cheer squad win

And I'll stand up top with one hand high
Point up right into the sky and yeah my skirt will really fly
Yeah Bring it On now again!

Yeah Tina Hammersmith, she's so rude you really see
And so I will start my own squad and the captain I will be
We'll be the renegades
And we'll beat those varsity
And we'll have a cool DJ
And we'll do just what we want

We will Bring all those cheers on again
Make the Dean Sebastian proud perfoming in the gym
We will Bring all those cheers on again
All the student body here will vote and make us win

Because Monica's a friend to me
DJ Derek cares for me and yeah I like my belly ring
So I will bring it on again

Bring It On!

Mmmmm....

Bring It On!

Bring It On now again!

We will bring all these cheers on again
Help to fund the drama club, ballet will work again!
We will bring all these cheers on again
Hope we win at nationals, for CSC is in!

And we'll jump and yell so happily
And Cheer for all our victory
Oh yeah will be a sight to see
We'll bring our cheers on again!

Mmmm.......Bring It On!

(Bring It All On Now!)

Mmmm

Oh, Bring It On!
Again as always, I ask that you do PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS IF YOU CAN! I am always wanting to know what the readers have to say about my parodies! So far, the two most popular are still "This Land Is My Land" and "Will I Have Money Tomorrow?" So far, nobody at all has voted or commented on "Who Will Pay The Toll?" Only one person voted on "Assets Run Dry", but it has no comments. I have also not received any comments on "No Drugs", and some songs only have one or two comments. I am always trying to come up with better ideas for more parodies and the movie Bring It On Again was what came to mind. Click Here to read my other parodies if you have not done so already!

I am a little disappointed that nobody else has left comments on this song in a very long time. Only two people have so far, and I have no idea what "ELOY" is saying, because I don't understand Spanish. However, I want to share two interesting pieces of information about this movie for those of you who have seen it. There are two things this movie has in common with Legally Blonde. The first is that the party scene after the homecoming game (where Tina makes Whittier ditch Derek) had an indoor part filmed in the same place as the front hall of the Delta Nu Sorority House (with the big round stairway). The other thing it has in common is that Dean Sebastian was played by Kevin Cooney, who played the head of admissions at Harvard Law School, agreeing to accept Elle Woods after watching her video essay.

Another movie just came out this past summer, "Bring It On - All Or Nothing". It has quite the storyline. Hayden Panettiere (Gen Harwood in Ice Princess) stars as Britney Allen who just after becoming the captain of her high school cheer squad finds out from her father that his company is relocating and she has to move from Pacific Vista to Crenshaw Heights. When joining the new cheer squad there (where not everybody is as friendly at first), she encounters a lot of problems leading up to her being at rival with her old squad and losing her boyfriend, the star football quarterback at homecoming. She along with her whole squad at Crenshaw Heights are up against her former rival squad to star in a Rihanna Music Video and to win new computers for her school which they really need! This movie is better than the first two, though the original Bring It On is better than the second one I wrote this parody about. I don't know if I can do another parody about the third movie, but I'll try to think of something.

Hey Alyssa, don't criticize my parodies! You don't have to use songs from a movie to write a parody about it, "Weird Al" Yankovic used "Lola" by The Kinks and "American Pie" by Don McLean for songs about two Star Wars movies. You definitely don't hear those songs in "The Empire Strikes Back" or "The Phantom Menace", you only hear theme music composed by John Williams.

The author of the parody has authorized comments, and wants YOUR feedback.
