Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Seven-Eleven--Big Bite Medley"

Parody Written by:

Jeff Reuben

The Lyrics

1. Robert Plant-Heaven Knows, 2. Def Leppard-Love Bites,
3. AC/DC-Dirty Deeds)
A brand name hot dogs waits, in its bun, all plain and bland
All beef, all pure, like you find at a ballpark concession stand
As the clock strikes two and the bars close in College Park
We've got condiments, that will give your dog some taste
S'LEVEN KNOWS: What kind of food am I?
S'LEVEN KNOWS: We've got toppings for your Big Bite
S'LEVEN KNOWS: What goes over me?
You were pumping chili while I was pumping nacho cheese...
It's not because I'm fat or just too lazy,
But making lunch for you might drive me crazy.
I know you think that lunch is the way you make it,
So I don't want to be there when you decide to taste it:
BIG BITES! WITH CHEESE! And mustard and chili beans!
WITH CHEESE! BIG BITES! It's no surprise!
BIG BITES! With Cheese! It's what I need...
When you've gotten wasted and you want some food; but you ain't got the
Your stomach's queasy and your belly aches; enough to drive you nuts,
Forget the phone, drink and get stoned; till you can barely stand
For a fee, I'm happy to be: Your Hot Dog Man!
Dirty Dogs under nacho cheese! Dirty Dogs under nacho cheese!
Mustard...relish...onions...NACHO CHEESE!
Pickles...ketchup...jalapeno peppers! NACHO CHEESE!

(ABC) DKTOS What, no comments and 15 votes? Here's one, but I don't know the song. Reads well.

Thanks Adagio! I believe I submitted this before comments existed, which would explain the lack of comments despite the # of votes.

(ABC) Well here's another one...with me knowing the music this time, at least the Robert Plant one. Are there three different songs in there? Seems like there is. It was really good. 5's (I didn't mention it before)

Thanks again Adagio! Yes, three different songs comprise the medley: Section one is Heaven Knows by Robert Plant. Section 2 is Love Bites by Def Leppard. Section 3 is Dirty Deeds (Done Dirt Cheap) by AC/DC. PS: I now know what Adagio means thanks to the Little Einsteins (another benefit of kids) =)

(ABC3) This medley kinda goes against the grain. Wouldn't this all typically end up in the Fragments section? There were some clever ideas here that I wished I could have used the entire song, rather than having them come-and-go so quickly. Anyway, "S'Leven Knows" as the refrain is *really* stretching it...I DKTOS Love Bites, but this read well...the last section of "Dirty Dogs" was really funny, but couldn't you have used "Chili Dogs" instead? I really wish we could have read 3 whole songs.

(ABC-S) Well, I've never seen a song dedicated to Big Bites. . .well, as the Weenie on a Hot Bun expert, I have to commend you on mentioning 7-Eleven does have all beef hot dogs, only their Smokie Big Bite is pork, however I must also mention, that all of 7-Eleven's hot dogs are made by Oscar Meyer, several of their brands are unique to them and made by Oscar Meyer exclusively for them. . .sorry, I have a nack for knowing a lot about anything unhealthy. . .back when I worked at 7-Eleven, I remember that Cheese and Chili and what it looked like when it got old. . .guyyhh. . .anyway. . .good parody, paced well.

(ABC3S) so this is an old one of yours Jeff? - going by your comment - I don't know if I've seen that before - a commentless old parody getting its first comment this year - I like it, but not as much as your later stuff
Johnny D - March 13, 2007 - Report this comment
(ABC) Pretty much what Stu said -- cleverly written & structured, too.

I loved the content of the parody, but have no idea how this scans since I'm DKTOS on the first two songs. I have to agree with Aggy on "S'LEVEN KNOWS" as being too much of a stretch, but otherwise it's a good piece of writing. 455

I also don't like the S'Leven, but no points are taken away, because this was an amazing idea and was well executed
