The Lyrics

According to a recent poll, the neo-Nazi party "Golden Dawn" is now the third-largest party in Greece in terms of support.
Oh that party, Golden Dawn
They say that Turks are not our brothers
And the immigrants, let's kick 'em out
Yeah we'll beat 'em off the streets, sieg heil
They make that stiff-armed salute
Then say it's zilch to do with Hitler
They're beating up left-wingers with their fists
Throw beer bottles at them too

That party's pretty out there
(A bunch of Nazi Greeks)
Like something that you'd read about
(In skinhead magazines)
Their flag looks suspicious
(That bunch of Nazi Greeks)
Oh just like a swastika
It makes me say, Eeek!
They're far right, they're far right
They're far right, you see
They're the Nazi Greeks, Nazi Greeks, they're Nazi Greeks, oh wow
Nazi Greek, Nazi Greek

Oh that crazy Golden Dawn
They say they'll take back Constinople
They say they'll put down land mines
On the border to the east, yeah
And they say they will make Hellas rule once again
What a scary scene
Sing along to Nazi hymns
Translated into the Greek language
"Our storm will cleanse this land"
When I see them they've got jackboots, guns and armbands
Business, they sure mean!

That party's pretty out there
(A bunch of Nazi Greeks)
Like something that you'd read about
(In skinhead magazines)
Their flag looks suspicious
(That bunch of Nazi Greeks)
Oh just like a swastika
It makes me say, Eeek!
They're far right, they're far right
They're far right, you see
They're the Nazi Greeks, Nazi Greeks, they're Nazi Greeks, oh wow
Nazi Greek, Nazi Greek

Hey racists, sing!
Ohhhhhhhhhhh
Nazi Greeks, Nazi Greeks
Nazi Greeks, Nazi Greeks
Ohhhhhhhhhhh
Oh that party, Golden Dawn
They say that Turks are not our brothers
And the immigrants, let's kick 'em out
Yeah we'll beat 'em off the streets, sieg heil
Joe, Goebbels!

I saw an article recently saying that one of the illegal Greece-bound Turk boats sunk like 100 yards from the shore and killed 60+. iBlamenazis

Greek Nazis. Interesting considering how the Nazis occupied Greece during World War II, and the 'then' Nazis didn't do the population any favors.
Personally, I've been to Greece and love the people, the country, and the history. Would be a shame to see it fall in the hands of a**holes.

In addition to what WarrenB said, during the period of the late '60s - mid '70s Greece was ruled by a fascist junta that styled themselves as "The Colonels". It was a native Greek form of fascism, not Nazi style. A botched meddling into Cypriot affairs embarassed the totalitarian regime so bad it stepped out of power, allowing for the Greek transition to democracy.
