| Parody Song Title: | "Australia" |
| Parody Written by: | Matthew Whitaker |
Out in the long grass, where the snakes lurk
Barefoot Australian fools
Venom could be lethal, they’re so dumb
’Cause nature can be so cruel
Stood by the roadside, nothing passes
In this Australian hell
Then in the distance a police car
But where, though, they cannot tell
Let's take a walk, out in the bush tonight
In Australia
You could die, out in the bush tonight
In Australia
Deadly spiders often slaughter
Listen, the victim screams
Crocodiles waiting in the water
To wreck your Australian dreams
Let's take a walk, out in the bush tonight
In Australia
You could die, out in the bush tonight
In Australia
I only went outside to breath fresh air and walk around
I only went outside to breath fresh air and walk around
It's not a headline in the paper
No-one would think it news
Where is a doctor when you need one
To fix your Australian blues?
Let's take a walk, out in the bush tonight
In Australia
You could die, out in the bush tonight
In Australia
In Australia
In Australia
Out in the bush tonight
You could die
Out in the bush tonight
You could die

Stuart might croc your arse for this anti-Oz jingle but I think you did a pretty good job with one of my fav PSB songs.
I don't need to Peter - Australia will go and do it all by itself - it comes with being evil - actually, if you want further evidence how scary and evil Australia is, watch any Aussie movie of the 70s-80s - great idea Matthew, and perfect title sub - 555 - (whoa, what's that thing crawling up my shoulde....
It's not the crocs, spiders and snakes ya gotta worry about, Matthew; it's the dangerous creature, "McArthurusParodyosa" ....
indigenous to the Melbourne area and a really nasty piece of work. ;-) Fun stuff. 555

Maaate. What a corker! As a true blue Aussie (ie originally born in another country but lived here for years) I gotta say I love this parody of yet another brilliant and beautiful PSB song. Bonza, eh?
