Barney thinks that he's the best,
But Twila Paris beats the rest
Of all the gospel artists there,
Though she don't win the Doves all year!
Now Amy Grant wants a war
So she and Twila settle scores!
Alas! that Smitty wants revenge
So that he gathers all his friends!

Stanza II.
"Barney, BJ, Baby Bop
And Mr. Riff must now be stopped!"
Such are the words of Yahweh God;
The God of Twila Paris trod
And gave His life upon the cross
To end all sin without a loss!
Alas! the sin has yet to end
So one can't tell his foes from friends!

Stanza III.
This is 'cos the troops of Smitty
Were combined with Sandi Patty
And those led by Amy Grant;
All told, their morals were so scant
'Cos Smitty does illegal drugs
And Amy's a divorcing thug;
Yet they're exalted o'er the rest!
They must needs know that God's the best!

Stanza IV.
Barney now seems to be winning;
Twila's wheels now are spinning!
Yet in darkness comes more forces
Giving Black Shirts fresh new horses!
Table's turning on a dime;
Reinforcements were in time!
Twila now smells victory;
She builds an altar, God, to Thee!

Stanza V.
Singing "Barney is on fire"
Twila cremates all the fallen;
In her righteous, just desire
Twila never is appalin'!
Rather, she is tender, caring--
Wholly blameless in her doings!
She will serve God with great daring;
Only Him she is pursuing!
