Parody Song Title:

"Saggy Pants"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

We wear pants like we want to
We don’t like to feel confined
We like sagging pants ‘cause they might enhance
The view of our behinds

I say, wear them low as you want to
An’ keep your groin free from a bind
And you can look like you’re cool while pulling them up
So your knees don’t get entwined
In saggy pants
(Come see)

That we’re thugs is just untrue
Yeah, we are good and we are sound
‘Cause we can’t do no crime when the whole time we’re tryin’
Not to let our pants go falling down

I say, you can think what you want to
And say whatever you might
And you can enact laws
For whatever dumb cause
But showing crack is our given right

I say, sagging pants, sagging pants
Sometimes are hard to support
There’s a chance, you will glance
A little more than our shorts
Hold your pants, hold your pants
Everybody use both your hands
Take command, or they’ll land
Down on the ground where you ha’n’t planned

We’ve saggy pants
Yes, some saggy pants
Yes, saggy pants

We can’t run if we want to
Can’t dance too, but that’s just fine
As long as we are in style
Saggy pants are worthwhile
Even if we can’t walk right

I say, saggy pants allow us to
Show off our narrow behinds
And my friends all wear
Low pants, so we share
The same uncultured mind

I say, saggy pants, saggy pants
Sometimes it’s hard to take a stroll
Saggy pants, saggy pants
We’re finding they’re hard to control
We can’t dance, we can’t prance
Can’t even make use of our hands
Saggy pants, saggy pants
Can’t even find any romance

Saggy pants
Damn saggy pants
Why these saggy pants

Quite a popular topic around here, and another fine treatment of it! :) 555 belts to pass around...

Excellent parody! I always dug this song, both the single edit and the extended mix. Some cities and towns are trying to impose laws on saggy pants - AS IF THERE AIN'T MORE PRESSING PROBLEMS RIGHT NOW. Personally I think that the evil corrupt acts and gross negligence that the "little tin gods" have done during the past decade or so and the cheapening-of-human-life attitude prevailing are a lot more vulgar and obscene than someone's pants dropping to reveal one's butt crack will ever be. Great parody of an 80s classic.
