Parody Song Title:

"Our Lab"

Parody Written by:

Stephen Harrington

This parody is part of a contest between me and Dominic L. The theme is rather silly and is based on the Mega Man game series(NES era).
Wiley wears his special coat
Airman's wired, he runs a float
the Joes are guarding what is theirs
Heatman's farting lots of flames(frt, frt, frt)
Bombman's got a site to claim
he will blow it down

Our lab, in the tunnel on the peak
our lab, in the tunnel on the

Our lab, it looks run down
there's always something bubbling
and it's usually dark brown
our Doc, he's so lab-sound
planning never drags him down
and a flaw is not abound

Our lab, in the tunnel on the peak
our lab, in the tunnel on the
our lab, in the tunnel on the peak
our lab, in the tunnel on the
(Bladers tell him that he needs to find a way to win)

Wiley sets up plans for work
Flashman has to iron his coat
then he sends the Joes to run
sees them off with a beam gun(bir, bir, bir*)
he's the one they're going to kill
in lots of ways

Our lab, in the tunnel on the peak
our lab, in the tunnel on the

I remember way back then when
everything was dark and when
we could make such a very strong bot
such a cruel bot, such an evil bot

And I remember how we'd pay
simply slave the day away
then we'd say nothing could come
between us true schemers

Wiley wears his special coat
Airman's wired, he runs a float
the Joes are guarding what is theirs
Heatman's farting lots of flames
Bombman's got a site to claim
he will blow it down

Our lab, in the tunnel on the peak
our lab, in the tunnel on the peak
our lab, in the tunnel on the peak
our lab, in the tunnel on the
our lab, is our prison and it reaks
our lab, in the tunnel on the peak
our lab, that was where he used to streak**
our lab, in the tunnel on the peak
our lab, in the tunnel on the peak

(fade out)

*bir = the sound of beam gun fire(I think). **: a Flashman joke me and some friends would make, Flashman's power was the ability to stop time and we would add that he would expose himself to his enemy after stopping time(Aaahhhhh!!! no!). Comments?

Well, Stephen, this had some excellent pacing. The rhyming is top-notch too. The only thing is, I don't get most of the humor. But I went and gave you a 555 anyway. : )

Thank you! The humor was part of the reason why I asked if you had played Mega Man on the NES(which is abit different from the SNES Mega Man X, story wise). I tried to write in alittle humor to balance the old school Mega Man references(which older people who played Nintendo would most likely get).

It has been ages since I played Megaman which was a pretty cool game for its time. 5s.

A great parody and a good contender against your friend's. I was surprised that you were able to keep with the pacing on the part where they sing really fast.

Thanks you MrMacphisto! I had to keep some of the words in that part(but changed as much as I could so it wouldn't count as plagerism), that's part of the reason for it pacing good there.
