Early in the morning I turn on the show Sports Center
And wonder what's up with the Reds from Cincinnati
I'm happy when they're winning, so sad when they lose
All that's missing is the Riverfront that I used to see

Now they're playing in a ballpark, so shiny and so new
It's the Great American Ballpark that I haven't seen yet
They don't win the way they used to and it's hurting so deep
I've got my pride, I will not cry, but it's still not the same
