I originally did a similar parody of same OS for another website 4 years ago. So this is an update. First stanza of 2019 parody is pretty good so I'll tack that on at the end

To be .. hooked on drugs

Well there's a mother .. at a school board
Protesting sex indoctrination
She's got a creepy book, with creepy pics
Says, "Lord, this must rate a comdemnation"
Cause they told her, back in high school
"Girl, you get to air your views"
But, just like everything else, these sacred rights
No longer meant for you

Would have been nice if your song matched the OS in terms of rhyme and pacing. But that’s just how I roll when it comes to writing…
Sometimes, I roll that way too. For example, about 8 years ago, I parodied the entire album of "Abby Road" .. 256 lines and not a single error. But then again, when the singer of an OS is basically half-singing half-mumbling a poorly constructed, overly long, final line to a stanza, I'll give myself a gimme. It still "sings" like the original
