The Lyrics

There's a team in the NBA called the Chicago Bulls.
Lately their management has really acted like fools.
They won six NBA titles over a span of eight years.
But when Jordan retired, it confirmed their worst fears.

They don't rout 'em like that anymore.
They just don't rout 'em like that anymore.

There had been lots of nights where they could name their score.
Like when they beat the Utah Jazz 96-54.
In one season they won a record 72 games.
When Phil Jackson resigned, their next coach came from Ames.

It's easy now to see why they won their championships.
But these days they're trying not to lose to the L.A. Clips.
