Karlando, please don't take offense, you've written several parodies that I laughed out loud at, which is something only about five other authors on this site can do....
I wouldn't take offense if this were about me.

Naw man I'm kidding. As far as I know, your major perosnal possessions are safe. I thought this was cool. I don't know the original at all, but how can I not give a song about me all 5's?

The original is by the Platters, not Freddie Mercury, and certainly not the Pretenders, though U2 did a pretty good version of it. And if it were about me, Karlando would wonder what was I doing using his name! (Hell, my lawsuit against The Sports Authority is still pending.)
You are correct that the Platters did the original, but Freddie Mercury had a huge hit with it. I'm an avid U2 fan and I have never heard of a U2 version of this song; it's not on any of their albums....
