The Lyrics

I imagine being a bus driver in a major city wouldn't be the best job in the world. Especially in the NYC. I bet those drivers get to meet some pretty strange people and run across some pretty weird things.
Chorus: Well I’ve been working on the bus line
Driving round, round
Working on this bus line
Woo! Been driving ‘round town
Driving on this bus line
Been around ‘round
Working on this bus line
Woo! I’ve seen some weird clowns!

Verse 1: Five o’clock in the morning
Right when my shift’s begun
I see a strange old woman
But her clothes, she’s wearin’ none!
Lord that’s disturbing!

Chorus: I’ve been working on the bus line
Way too long, long
Driving on this bus line
Woo! I’ve seen some things wrong
Working on that bus line
Going strong, strong
Cruising on this bus line
Woo! I’ve seen gay men thongs!

Spoken: You know people, that is so damn gross!
How strange can people get!

Chorus: Well I’m still working on this bus line
One chick purrs, purrs
Riding on this bus line
Woo! And she’s got whiskers!
Freaking on this bus line
Scary sir, sir
Smelly on this bus line
Woo! He’s wearing rat fur!

Verse 2: One o’clock in the morning
I start to raise a fuss
When my workday is over
Some dude takes craps on my bus!
Lord that’s disgusting!

Chorus: Man I hate working on this bus line
Ev’ry day, day
Slaving on this bus line
Woo! Who lit up a jay!?
Smoking on my bus line
Not okay, kay
Flying in my bus line
Woo! I got the Munch-ays!

Spoken: “Hey, Jerry how you doing?”
“Mark I am so frikin’ cold stoned!”
How long can this go on?

Chorus: Well I’ve been drivin’
And goin’
A cruisin’
Woo! I am so high now!
A drivin’
Woo! I’m off the road now!

Chorus: Steerin’
And Veerin’
Woo! I missed that kid wow!
Smoke blowin’
Woo! Get off my bus now!

Spoken: “Dude you better get out now!”
“Do it! Alright off you go!”

[Instrumental Break: Fast forwarding through the bus driver’s day of pick ups and drop offs. He pulls into the bus station to end his shift]

Spoken: “Enough of this stuff boss!”
“There’s really better work!”

This is why Ralph Kramden was always so stressed out.

Really fun original song to parody, I kinda want to do a parody of it too. I loved all of the crazy characters you invented for this one and I would love to see a music video!

(Artistry) No wonder he's stressed, his shift starts at 5am and ends at 1am! BTW, nice pick of an OS to parody :-). Since this is NYC, I imagine the bus riders are the folks who were rejected by the subway. Funny stuff.

"Takes craps" sounds like someone was gambling in the back row, know. It really got interesting when the driver got the second hand high.

(Artistry) The weirdest thing I've ever seen on a bus was myself in a reflection, so I can't top Puff the Magic Bus Driver here. 555!

Well, I'll tell you one thing, having once been someone who relied on the bus to get to work, craps on the bus and naked old ladies really do happen, as does full all out sex (I'll leave out details) but it worked, seems like you nailed the verses more so than the chorus but all things considered not bad.

"One chick purrs, purrs" Who let an anthropomorphic girl cat on the bus?
