Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Based on a true story.
Look around us
There are S.U.V.'s galore here
Parking-lots abound today
With them you see

We are bolder now
We are sore and won't be daunted
And we wish that we had started
Long before we did

We have bumper stickers to put
Everywhere we turn
Signs we just paste and run away ---

"If
Your
I.Q. Was As
Small As Mine You Would
Drive An S.U.V. As Big As Mine Today"

Oh when you were young,
Did you lust for muscle-wagons?
Did you envy all their drivers
Who would honk and swerve?

Look around you now ---
Many went for what you wanted
Look at all those jerks who did and got what they deserved

We've bumper stickers to put
Everywhere we turn
Signs we just paste and run away ---

"If
Your
Ego Was As
Big As Mine You Would
Drive A Stinkin' Gas-Hog Big As Mine Today"

We've bumper stickers to put
Everywhere we turn
Signs we just paste and run away ---

"If
Your
Head's Up Your Ass
Far As Mine You Would
Drive A Fuel-Abuser Big As Mine Today"

We've bumper stickers to put
Everywhere we turn
Signs we just paste and run away ---

"If
Your
Pecker Was As
Small As Mine You Would
Drive A Muscle-Wagon Big As Mine Today"

"Drive A Wanker-Tanker Just Like Mine Today"
(The original song was first released on the album "Daylight Again" in 1982)

JD, did you know that SUV drivers were REQUIRED to be on their cell phones at all times while driving? I didn't, but it must be so because every one of them seems to be on the phone all the time. 5's.

Honk if you love peace and quiet! :-)
DKTOS, but I'll trust the others (and your rep) for pacing so here's another 555 in your tank.

Thanks very much, JB, Kristof, Pat, AFW, Alvin, Paul, Stuart, and Peter! ;-)

My older brother has a friend who knows of a group of people who would go around to places where big muscle-wagons were parked and sneak up to paste these kinds of bumper-stickers on their rear bumpers. The one specific bumper-sticker that my brother's story recalled was one that said "If Your Pecker Was As Small As Mine You'd Drive A Muscle-Wagon Like This Too".

Kudos from an SUV driver. (My excuse is that I live in Utah. We've got snow here. And hills.) I was in Orlando recently and a guy pulled alongside me in a Hummer. I felt less guilty. Thank goodness for moral relativism.

Already saw this one back in November, but I just revisited because I'm doing the OS now. Nice job, JD...
