This is about a NASCAR driver who struggled in 1995 and 1996 and wants a second chance to relive those years and perform better during that time, regretting the mistakes he made during the '95 and '96 seasons.
Driving NASCAR wasn't easy when I was young and bulletproof
I had no ties to bind me - a pickup, car, and a roof
I finished in the top 5 once, but it was usually hit or miss
I had a rough time in 1995, or was it '96?
