That bit in 'The Empire Strikes Back' always makes me want to write something like this.
Darth:

How could Ben do this to me? He said that Vader killed Dad
Said my Father was a good, good old Jedi
Now Darth says that he is him, I am peeing my pants.

I know I have to go.

Minor quibble - if you don't think my song was good, by all means give it a low score, but please at least give my pacing the credit it deserves! grr!

I've just realised, I haven't a clue what decade this song is from, I just put it in the 80s 'cause that was when the Empire Strikes Back came out. I am such a twit :)
If it was Cat Stevens, it was probably in the first half of the Seventies. But since I don't know it, I can't vote on the parody. Good idea, though. If you ARE, in fact, a twit, you don't show it here.
Excellent parody! Cat Stevens had the original out in the 70's and then Boyzone did a cover in the 90's.
