Song Parodies -> Drunken Driving
| Original Song Title: | "Kung Fu Fighting" |
| Original Performer: | Carl Douglas |
| Parody Song Title: | "Drunken Driving" |
| Parody Written by: | Trevor J. Smith |
This parody is about a university swimmer(and diver), on scholarship, that got busted for DUI. Not to mention disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Laura Hall was drunken driving,
Her breath was foul and frightening,
Looks like she's done with diving,
She should have thought twice about driving.
Laura's driving down the road-she's no Amanda Beard,
Instead of winning gold,
She drank another beer.
After one more Cuervo shot, then came the cops.
She cursed the cops and spit, kicked the windshield and it split.
Laura Hall was drunken driving,
Her breath was foul and frightening,
Likes like she's done with diving,
She should have thought twice about driving.
The guys at the bar, they had one thought.
They said, "here comes the drunk girl,
Let's buy her a shot.
Laura drove from the bar,
And almost crashed her car.
Her emotions made her trip,
Kicked the windshield and it split.
Laura Hall was drunken driving,
Her breath was foul and frightening,
Looks like she's done with diving,
She should have thought twice about driving.
Her breath was foul and frightening,
Looks like she's done with diving,
She should have thought twice about driving.

Don't know the story, but don't really need to: nicely told.
Love the OS...but....B-O-R-I-N-G!
Never heard that story, but any effort to make a superfly parody to discourage people from drunk driving gets 5s in my book (unless written poorly). Hey, if you like this, check out: www.amiright.com/parody/80s/dschinghiskhan0.shtml (P.S., "Kung Fu Fighting" was performed in the 70s, not the 80s.)
