The Lyrics

Remember your grandma's cooking?
Old Time Pasta Bowl

Just take that old china of the shelf
You can't lift it up all by yourself
Today's dishes don't use the same mold
as Grandma's old time pasta bowl

Throw in flour and some Crisco
Now your baking bread to feed hungry scores
Could bathe three grandkids or more
Rope and pulley moved it through the door

l love that old time crockery bowl
Thickened stoneware with swirls of gold
Half ton of ragu meatballs
Grandma's old time recipe told

Display a case of mangos
Squash grapes for a home made merlot
Made an ocean full- fillet of sole
Grandma's old time pasta bowl

Call me a glutton call me what you will
Plan on swimming if It takes a spill
Todays dishes don't take the same toll
As that old time crokery bowl

Still love that old crokery bowl
Thickened stoneware with swirls of gold
The kind of cooking that would feed em all
Grandma's old time pasta bowl

No Diva, I think you're right - That bowl was from the 80s - the 1880s. I know just what you are talking about, my grand ma had that kind of crockery from the old country. I inherited some of it.

Great line --> Plan on swimming if It takes a spill

And no exaggeration, for sure. Loved it! Well deserved 5's.

Gee Wildman, how many boxes of 'Total' is that? With you and those bowls that poor lady on that 'Total' commercial would never run out of bowls.
