What's the matter with the games I'm playing
Do you think they're a waste of time
Even if I played 'em all day long
It isn't like gaming is a crime
Should I try to play a new RPG
Like Mario or Zelda or Final Fantasy
Everybody's trading up to new games
Funny, but it's still Nintendo to me

Why's it matter which genres I'm playing
Can't you see there's a lot of styles
Maybe I should get a new cruise racer
I could go around the track for miles
Nowadays you have a wider selection
You gotta buy a new game for your collection
GameCube, DS, even if it's NES
It's still Nintendo to me

Oh, it doesn't matter what's played to be a gamer
Even if you download one for free
There's a new game review
Are you gonna get it to, from a catalog or magazine
It's rated age K-Teen

How about a new wi-fi controller
And a brand new LCD
You could even play a first person shooter
But I doubt that you could beat me
Don't waste your money on the new PlayStation
You get more fun from the classic gaming system
GameCube, new Wii, DS, NES
It's still Nintendo to me

Why's it matter just how loud I'm playing
Can't you see I have to concentrate
Should I try to get a top ten score
And if I do wouldn't that be great
Don't you know about the new games, honey
All you need is skill and a whole lotta money
