Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"The Immigration Song"

Parody Written by:

Eric J. Edlund

The Lyrics

Written 23 MAY 2006. A few of my friends said that this is their favorite of my parodies because it relates to current issues back in the states. It's about Ilegals in the U.S. It is not ment to be racist, prejudist, hatist or anything else. I just thought the topic made for a really good parody.
What's the matter with the words they're speakin'
Can't you understand a foreign tongue

Maybe they should try to speak our language
Although it's not the only one

Where have you been hiding out lately, buddy
You think life is free but it costs a lot of money

Everybody's talkin' "bout
New immigration laws

Send "em back
It's fine with me
_____ _____ _____

What's the matter with the job they're doin'
Can't you tell it doesn't pay too much

Maybe they should be a green card holder
Then they could pay taxes like us

You're told you have to be nice
To illegals

They just want to work
To feed themselves and their people

Food, rent, government,
Welfare recipient

Send "em back
It's fine with me
_____ _____ _____

Oh, It doesn't matter what the President says
"Cause Congress will intervene

There are illegals in town
But you can't arrest "em now

"Cause they got everyone's sympathy
Isn't time that we
_____ _____ _____

How about we start enforcing laws
That were made many years ago

People keep sayin' that they're working jobs
That no one else will, so let it go

Don't waste my money on
Education, welfare

Medical coverage
"Cause they're not supposed to be here

Track "em down, Tie "em up,
Pack "em in, Ship "em out

Send "em back
It's fine with me
_____ _____ _____

Ooh, Cover story on the paper's readin' that
The government's out of touch

Taxes high and getting higher
Social assistance costs too much

The liberals wanna start
A new program, buddy

They wanna raise my taxes
And spend a lot of money

Illegals stay, you pay
No one cares, anyway

Send "em back
It's fine with me
_____ _____ _____

Everybody's talking "bout
New immigration laws

Send "em back
It's fine with me
I don't currently have the ability to record any of my parodies. If anyone would like to record any of them, feel free. Just let me know because, I would like to hear them and get a copy of them. Thanks

Interesting thing is that on one hand we're told we must be nice to illegals (as your parody says), but on the other hand, if you're ever appointed to high office, you'd better not have had any contact with illegals in your entire lifetime, or you're automatically disqualified.

yea' whatever you wouldn't be saying the same thing if you came here for a better life and people just talk about your race all the time. you should start putting yourself in some of our shoes and you will realize alot of things you didn't know
