When is the right time to send ground forces? After they form a caliphate out of Iraq and Syria? Maybe we will get lucky and they will kill Assad!
Don't hold your breath!
In retrospect, we could deal with someone like Assad or Pahlavi, or Hussein, or Ghadaffi. They sought material things of this world. ISIS worships death and we are not willing to give it to them in the quantities they deserve.
