Ever since I saw the documentary "Anvil! The Story of Anvil", my interest in the band was revived, so I also decided to do some parodies of this band. Here's one about Oliver Twist. Enjoy the parody! DKTOS?

Spoon in his bowl, he’s hungry and he’s beat.
Does lots of work, Bumble is mad,
Wants to get out, his life is just so sad.
Oliver Twist, take a word from me:
Don’t care what they think ‘cause that’s the way to be!

One day at a meal, orphans draw lots,
Wantin’ some more gruel, need somethin’ that’s hot.
Someone gets the short, and it’s Oliver,
He must go up there and he must be sure.
He then says: “Please sir, I want some more.”
Bumble gets mad, what’s all this for?

Keepin’ him at work, toilin’ all the time,
Punishment is due for a little crime.
Oliver Twist goes to face his fears,
Knowin’ a better life must be near.
