Well Sir, at least Pluto remains my favorite k-9 cartoon character! Oh, . . . . HuckleBerryHound being 2nd !
One of my favorite lines in the 1986 movie "Stand By Me" starring Wil Wheaton as Gordie Lachance, River Phoenix as Chris Chambers, Corey Fledman as Teddy Duchamp and Jerry O'Connell as Vern Tessio, who also played "Woody" on Crossing Jordan, is when the boys are chatting and one of them says "if Pluto is a dog then what the hell is goofy"? Well goofy is just what these scientists are who declare Pluto to be a non-planet. Pluto was not even discovered until 1931. So if Goofy is a dog star then why in the hell can't Pluto be a planet?
