The Lyrics

Makin' a living the old art way
Takin' the givings you pay by day

Tranq-darts loaded -- aim, it's (a) mime-stun time!

Baggin' the mime
(Baggin' the mime)
(BANG!)
8-O 8-o %-I I-I

That clown-man's been there for hours
His painted mug's under grease-white-flour

His big show ends -- aim, it's (a) mime-stun time!

Baggin' the mime
(Baggin' the mime)
(BANG!)
8-O 8-o %-I I-I

Baggin' the mime
(Baggin' the mime)
(BANG!)
8-O 8-o %-I I-I

Eyes peeled, I'm,
Out stalkin' proud greased-up mimes!

I'm gonna take my time!
I'm settin' the gun's sight...

Baggin' the mime
(Baggin' the mime)
(BANG!)
8-O 8-o %-I I-I

Baggin' the mime
(Baggin' the mime)
(BANG!)
8-O 8-o %-I I-I

Loving the feel of civic duty
Of druggin' a mime who shakes his booty

(An') Diggin' the load-an'-(the)-aim at (the) white-glove-slime!

Baggin' the mime
(Baggin' the mime)
(BANG!)
8-O 8-o %-I I-I

Baggin' the mime
(Baggin' the mime)
(BANG!)
8-O 8-o %-I I-I

Climb, plead, whine!
My dog has now treed some mimes!

My laser ray-sight lights!
They're wettin' their wool tights...

Baggin' the mime
(Baggin' the mime)
(BANG!)
8-O 8-o %-I I-I

Baggin' the mime
(Baggin' the mime)
(BANG!)
8-O 8-o %-I I-I

Baggin' the mime (gotcha, gotcha)
(Baggin' the mime) (gotcha, ha-ha!)
(BANG!)
8-O 8-o %-I I-I

Baggin' the mime (gotcha, gotcha)
(Baggin' the mime) (gotcha, ha-ha!)
(BANG!)
8-O 8-o %-I I-I

Baggin' the mime (gotcha, gotcha)
(Baggin' the mime) (gotcha, ha-ha!)
(BANG!)
8-O 8-o %-I I-I

Baggin' the mime (gotcha, gotcha)
(Baggin' the mime) (gotcha, ha-ha!)
(BANG!)
8-O 8-o %-I I-I

Baggin' the mime (gotcha, gotcha)
(Baggin' the mime) (gotcha, ha-ha!)
(BANG!)
8-O 8-o %-I I-I

Baggin' the mime (gotcha, gotcha)
(Baggin' the mime) (gotcha, ha-ha!)
(BANG!)
8-O 8-o %-I I-I

DKTOS - And how come there are now female mimes? They're all male, aren't they? :-)
Peter Andersson a.k.a K1chyd - April 11, 2006 - Report this comment
...NO female mimes. Duuuh! Sometimes I think I better start mime my comments.

(Everyone else: That would make the One Guy look like a social genius in comparison, please don't!).

Thanks, AFW, alvin, and Peter. Peter --- did you see my "DKTOS?" link at the top of this parody page?

That's it - I'm officially in need of glasses after sunset. Though to my defense I like to add that on Amimeright you're always in risk of entering the next parody with tears in your eyes after reading the previous one, and then the circle continues. :-)

Surprisingly good OS. All 5s of course.

Johnny, I know this is one of several you have done about mimes. Did you meet someone in your theater life that inspires these?555, and Peter, your parody yesterday about female silence should explain fully why there are few, if any, female mimes -))
Ravyn Rant - April 11, 2006 - Report this comment
Glad you're just stunning them, Johnny...because you know, (*snickers*) a mime is a terrible thing to waste! yuk yuk yuk (yuk is right!) Fun parody!

I can't wait till May 4th either... Everyone else is doing Mime Slaying songs I got to come up with one... How about "If I could burn that mime" a parody of Cher's "If I could turn back time".... Actually that has promise...
Stuart McArthur - April 11, 2006 - Report this comment
what Dee said, and what is May 4th? This mime-craze is lost on me - I downloaded the OS, Johnny, esp. to understand the use of "8-O 8-o %-I I-I" (still blank - probably something obvious that I've missed entirely) and your pacing is perfect, as ever - 555

Silence is golden and so is this parody. 555

Great parody! Marcel Marceau couldn't have said it better.

THANK YOU, EVERYBODY! (ahhhh, a little shouting to cleanse the palate)

Watch for my upcoming Elvis parody, "Suspicious Mimes".

Dee: I attended a performance by one of Marcel Marceau's students many years ago ... but I don't have anything against mimes ... they're just easy targets for parody, & you KNOW they won't talk back! ;-)

Ravyn: Thank you for getting the UNSPOKEN JOKE of this parody!

Matthias: By all means, jump on the white-glove-bashing bandwagon!

Stuart: May 4th is International Make Fun Of Mimes Day. " 8-O " is the face of the mime when the dart hits him; " 8-o ", as the drug starts to take effect; " %-I " as he's passing-out; and " I-I " as he starts making the sound "zzzzzzzzzz".

Rick: 8-)

PMS: 8-)

I assume these mimes were not on a boat, in other words, they are land mimes. (Hey, it may not be a great joke but it's mime.)
Stuart McArthur - April 11, 2006 - Report this comment
ah, thought so.......:-)

Rex: LOL + GROAN (all silent, of course)!

Stuart: And of course I made it all up. Heh HEH. ;-D

Glad I inspired you to make this Johnny D. Loved the smileys. What have I started here? Can't wait to see Matthias' parody too. They aren't that hard to make: it's just mime over matter!
