Parody Written by:

This one goes out to you fanboys and fangirls out there....
Oh My God! There's hundreds of dorks!

I see a huge and towering fresco
"The Day The Earh Stood Still"!
I see much things amazing
Movies, toys and games

I see grown men like children
Chatting up...Joss Whedon 'bout Buffy
But the man barely listens
Will he get out by 5?

We are downtown, fun all around
The SciFantaWizCon!

Saw a guy dressed up like Merlin
Claimed that he was born in nine hundred and ninety-nine!
There were Star Wars Stormtroopers
Marched right along the autograph line!

I've seen Wizard Worlds
And many ComiCons that were a disgrace
And so how much did this one cost?
My salary, one month, while working as a tech for myspace

Wow, wow, pleasures abound
SciFantaWizCon!

(spoken:)
In the Xena Pavillion, I met a French illustrator
Said he worked with Gary Gygax
He advertised...a beautiful picture for me
A litho of Darth, the price four grand!
I knew the cost would be a bitch
But this I'd never seen
Let me tell you
What else I bought for my room

Bought a rare text by Heinlein
And a bootleg of The Corpse Bride
And Jason Mewes dressed so plain
To Kevin Smith said, "Oh Snootchy Bootchies!

Then my nerves quivered with much unease
Denise Crosby, so unexpectedly pure
I just nearly died tonight
When she asked...MY NAME!

It was downtown, was lost and then found
SciFantaWizCon!
Lost in sound, bound, turned all around
SciFantaWizCon!

Think I'll go home now!

Downtown...YEAHHHHH!!!!!

I would call Thin Lizzy a nerd band, but at least nerds are intresting.... I loved the "Oh Snootchy Bootchies!" line!!!

Never been to a convention like this, though I might be inclined to go should Marina Sirtis be scheduled to appear. Good work on a tough OS - you nailed the spoken part.

When I first read this I thought...yeah, kinda cool. Today, though, when I actually listened to the OS I realized what a great job you did. Of all the TL songs to pick, you took on a big task. The concept is clever and the cutlural nods are plentiful. Well done.

(Artistry) All these references I didn't recognise, and not one Transformer reference? Blasphemy!! Anywho, brilliant job, 555, you know the drill.

(Artistry) I um, really didn't get a lot of the references. . .but the opening line got me cracking up. . ."Oh My God! There's hundreds of dorks!" I guess I'm not 'dork' enough to get it. . .but very well written.
