Parody Song Title:

"Bring on the Right"

Parody Written by:

The 90s boom recently
Passed us by
And evil spreads itself against
The wise
Baiting us with sorrow
Just another way
Thoughts of yesterday
Will rise

Bring on the Right
We couldn't stand to tolerate the gays' rights
Bring on the Right
We couldn't stand another power with foresight

The future is bought up
By the sharks
Change is but a nightmare
In the dark
Can't think, for the brightest
Can't show the blind
Problems of yesterday
Arise

Bring on the Right
We couldn't stand to care about the poor's plight
Bring on the Right
We had to start another of those oil fights

Bring on the Right
We couldn't stand another hour without spite
Bring on the Right
We couldn't stand to keep from flexing our might

We couldn't stand to tolerate the gays' rights
We couldn't stand another power with foresight
We couldn't stand to care about the poor's plight
We had to start another of those oil fights
We couldn't stand another hour without spite
We couldn't stand to keep from flexing our might
We started war because of hijacked plane flights
We had a plan to show the world that might's right
We threw away our freedoms for this sad fright...

Yeah, bring 'em on, and in '08, we we'll actually nominate a guy willing to pull the trigger. Politically speaking, of course.

Thanks, Michael... :) I'm just hoping that '06 brings us back to a balance of power via the House and Senate. If not, it could mean economic disaster by '08.
Michael Pacholek - May 10, 2005 - Report this comment
"Economic disaster by '08"? So you don't consider a net loss of jobs between 1/20/01 and 1/20/05 to be an "economic disaster"? Population growth alone should have accounted for at least five, probably more like six million jobs over that stretch, so Bush really cost us nine million jobs, rather than just the three million that have only recently been finally made up, with his crazy harebrained tax scheme. Oh, if only Gore or Kerry had used the "Alice Kramden phrase."
MrMacphisto - May 11, 2005 - Report this comment
Unfortunately, the damage Bush has done is only the beginning.... Anyway, who is Alice Kramden?
