So I'd like to know where
He got his notions
Said I'd like to know where
He got his notions

Oh Bach, he wrote!
(Oh Bach, he wrote, baby!)

Bach, he wrote!
(He'd flip the notes over!)

Bach, he wrote!
(Oh Bach, he wrote, baby!)

Bach, he wro-o-o-ote!

Ever since his voyage of sound began
His sound has thrilled us like the rush of the wind
And his notes have swelled in space from ol' Middle-C

There's always been
Cantatas paced
So mes-mer-i-zing-ly

His sound is like a wind from the heavens
That's been wafting for cen-tur-ies
Full of
Fugues and inventions

So I'd like to know where
He got his notions
Said I'd like to know where
He got his notions

Oh Bach, he wrote!
(Oh Bach, he wrote, baby!)

Bach, he wrote!
(He'd flip the notes over!)

Bach, he wrote!
(Oh Bach, he wrote, baby!)

Bach, he wro-o-o-ote!

Up through now Bach's played throughout the land
And he'll always flow from some harpsichord player's hands
Oh we love to hear his strength in every fugue

Just let me drift away
My dear
'Cause Bach can
See me through

His sound is like a ship on the ocean
That's been sailing for cen-tur-ies
Full of
Counterpoint motion

So I'd like to know where
He got his notions
Said I'd like to know where
He got his notions

Yeah, I'd like to know where
Bach got his notions
Oh, I'd like to know where
Bach got his notions

Oh Bach, he wrote!
(Oh Bach, he wrote, baby!)

Bach, he wrote!
(He'd flip the notes over!)

Bach, he wrote!
(Oh Bach, he wrote, baby!)

Bach, he wrote!
(He'd flip the notes over!)

Bach, he wrote!
(ooh - ooh - ooh - ooh!)

Bach, he wrote!
(Bach on with your glad self!)

Bach, he wrote!
(Bach on with your glad self!)

Bach, he wrote!
(Bach on with your glad self!)

Bach, he wrote!
Bach, he wrote!
Bach, he wrote!
Bach, he wrote!

Bach, he wrote!
Bach, he wrote!
Bach, he wrote!
Bach, he wrote...

What a Gee Major parody! Love the "counterpoint motion" line. Bach sure knew how to fugue things up.

Bach had 23 kids. There were no stops on his organ.

Bach had 23 kids? He probably had most of them before he knew what caused them. He didn't know it was all that fugue I bet.

Grade-A professional job, as usual. But I have one lingering question--What did Bach do?
