Hehehe... I actually REMEMBER this song (from Sesame Street). Did Tom Lehrer actually write this? I thought it was "funkier" than his usual style.
It was Electric Company material all right, not Sesame Street (SS didn't teach about suffixes, after all). The original song WAS pretty strong 70s funk, with a good protest message in addition to the language lesson. Don't know the lyricist though... P.S. Good to see an anti-Bush parody that goes beyond "he's evil and stupid". 5-5-5!
