| Parody Written by: | Ann Hammond |
See my shadow form
See my shadow form
Into this world was born
Into this cage was thrown
Just a hog who lost his home
Oh just leave me alone
See my shadow form.
Stupid people mini lobe
Their brains are squirming like a toad
They made this holiday
It's called Groundhog Day
Well if I don't act surprised
Bunch of jerks will cry
Stupid people mini lobe, yeah.
Being released by some man
Being released by some man
Come out on demand
Wish they'd understand
Know a shadow will come
As long as there is sun
Thrown back in by man, &@!#.
See my shadow form
See my shadow form
Into this world was born
Into this cage was thrown
Just a hog who lost his home
Oh just leave me alone
See my shadow form.
Wow! my shadow formed (X4)
See my shadow form

oh yeah, today's a holiday...this is cute
Thanks alvin and John B.
Ah, to be in Punxsutawney in the springtime...
Good "holiday" version of the original song. Why not write Christmas carols to the tune of psychedelic rock songs? By the way, Groundhog day goes way back to ancient times. February 2 is the day of Candlemas which is a Catholic church holiday that was originally the Roman holiday Februra.
The last verse was the same as the first, as if you were re-living the same day. Reminds me of a movie with Bill Murray.......................
Interesting take Ann, 5's
Thanks you two hobbits and 2Eagle thanks for the info. I probably will do some Christmas songs. I don't mean any harm to the Catholic culture; I just can’t make too much sense from the view I have on this holiday. Rick D, Now that you mention it, It does remind one of that movie with bill Murray. It was called "? Day". Hedgehog, bullfrog, hot-dog, wood log something like that.
Twit flood thing I hope I dont post twice. I said culture and I think I meant religon, Although in places like Brazil It is part of their culture I think. Anyway no harm meant.
Thanks for your daily contributions. . .you are creative and unique Ann, maybe I should write a song about you. . .hmm after the rave reviews of "Red Ant Surprise" watch your back:) LOL--555 here keep it up. . .simple yet effective.
Clever!! 5's
Nice. It has been nice to see you also developing from a talented bud into one of the most notable parodists to be taken seriously here. 555. BTW, I loved the Bill Murray film.
