Parody Song Title:

"Welcome Home, Mike"

Parody Written by:

Mare Garrel

With the reason loss of Michael Jackson, I thought I'd try my hands at a tribute. I chose this song because I knew he's been friends with the Bee Gees for a long time.
Well, you can tell by the way they act so blue
That they miss ya, man, you know it's true
Music played more than ever, yeah they finally see
How great you were
But that's all right. that's okay.
They wouldn't see no other way.
Now they finally understand
Your huge effect on music, man

We've been friends for years and I couldn't stand to wait no more
So welcome home, Mike. Welcome home, Mike.
Stereo's are breakin, you know you're not forsaken,
Yeah, welcome home, Mike. Welcome home, Mike.
Ah, ha, ha, ha, welcome home, Mike., welcome home, Mike..
Ah, ha, ha, ha, welcome home, Mike.

Well when you felt low, I brought you up
And if they didn't care, they wouldn't cry.
Got a brand new pal to hang with now.
With that dancin', man, they can't bear to lose.
But hey that's all right, that's okay
Now we'll be dancin' every day
While they all try, to understand
Your huge effect on music, man

We've been friends for years and I couldn't stand to wait no more
So welcome home, Mike. Welcome home, Mike.
Stereo's are breakin, you know you're not forsaken,
Yeah, welcome home, Mike. Welcome home, Mike.
Ah, ha, ha, ha, welcome home, Mike., welcome home, Mike.
Ah, ha, ha, ha, welcome home, Mike

Well they forgot you, get up here with me.
Get up here with me, yeah.
Well they forgot you, get up here with me.
We're pallin' once again, yeah. Welcome home, Mike

Ah, ha, ha, ha, welcome home, Mike

Well they forgot you, get up here with me.
Get up here with me, yeah.
Well they forgot you, get up here with me.
We're pallin' once again, yeah. Welcome home, Mike

RIP Michael Jackson. He will be missed. He's been my fave pop star since I was a toddler. I have this beat up cassette tape of Thriller.
