Sweeney Todd meets Little Shop of Horrors. THERE ARE LITTLE SHOP SPOILERS IN THIS PARODY.
Attend the tale of Sweeney Pod,
His story always was rather odd.
He started out in a little shop
And helped Seymour Krelborn move up to the top.
His voice is like the voice of God,
But he's a pod,
The demon fly-trap of Skid Row.
His teeth were sharp, his vines were green.
The weirdest fly-trap that man has seen.
And when its story had first come out,
The public had no clue what it was about.
What's Sweeney? What's Sweeney Pod?
The demon fly-trap of Skid Row.
Sing those lyrics well, Sweeney!
Make the music soar!
Howard Ashman has panache
For metaphor!
They always said, "Don't feed the plants."
For if we fight it, there's still a chance.
Admittedly, that's a paraphrase,
But how can you say that it matters these days
With Sweeney, with Sweeney Pod,
The demon fly-trap of Skid Row?
Sweeney's eaten the dentist first.
Next is Mushnik, and then it's worse.
Audrey is third, followed by Krelborn.
Didn't you know the plant is hell-born?
Sweeney, Sweeney, Sweeney, Sweeney,
SWEENEY!
Attend the tale of Sweeney Pod!
He thrived by tempting a nerdy clod!
What happened then? Well, no one knows.
When Krelborn goes out, the show comes to a close.
It's Sweeney, it's Sweeney Pod,
The demon fly-trap of Skid Row!

Very clever...I just saw ST yesterday, and they didn't even include this song in the film!
A clever mash indeed.
I love this song. I was sad that they didn't have this in the 2007 version. I have just recently made a parody in the Grease (musical) section... about my idol idina Menzel
I lovett (ha). This is a great movie, and that is agreat song. I thought it would be cool to see that in the movie, but, ya can't doo everythingi suppose. anyway though, lovett.
