The Lyrics

Obama's untruths
Now you wear that smile on your face
You only share trying to fool the public
But when it comes down to fooling truth
How funny, you lie on different subjects
And your sets of bad impressions
Give me the long depressions
Really I'm sad ( sad, sad, sad, sad )
I'm sadder than sad ( sad, sad, sad, sad )
The song that you're burnin's so sad ( sad, sad, sad, sad )
You're a clown who intends to be bad ( sad, sad, sad, sad )

Now there's some sad things known to man
But ain't too much sadder than
The years of this clown, when there's no hope around

Now in your career your ped-i-gree
Was only to cam-ou-flage your badness
In order to steal the minds you lie
Then cover the dirt on your mode of madness
You won't let the polls convince you
That you've been crappy since you
Excited 'em so, oh you steal the show
You smirk, but I want you to know
You can't shovel your bull into gold

Now there's some sad things known to man
But ain't too much sadder than
The years of this clown, when there's no hope around

Just like Ben-gha-zi fibs
You lie to keep your circus hid
Lyin' to the public eyes
So to this Smokey tune I write
The years of this clown, when there's no hope around

Now you wear that smile on your face
Your sets of bad impressions
Give me the long depressions
Don't let that smile you share
Make you think I'm un-a-ware
Really I'm sad, I'm hurtin' so bad

A scathing indictment. Matches the somber tone of the original song. A first rate piece of political parody.

If you Google up "Clown Time is Over The Peoples Cube", you'll see a page with about five song parodies that are in the same vein as this. I contributed, "The Fear of A Clown", dealing with the incident where a rodeo clown named Tuffy Gessling was fired for putting on an Obama mask ........ Just like Tuffy Gessling said ... There ain't no need for seeing red ..... Preening in the public eye .... But in the Oval Room you hide .... The fear of a clown
