Well, 'Parody Project' Album being done I guess it's time to write some stuff that is just plain fun...hope you find this piece to be in that category...

Took my cat in for groomin'
too much hair was consumin'
was not much else I could do, man
cat was blowing chunks on my shag
I had just had it steam-cleaned
the situation had become a drag
The Groomin' place had a new man
Said he'd make her look good, man
I said, "I sure hope that is true, man
I'm tired of cleaning up cat puke "
He said, "It's true and I'm certain
when I am through you'll love how your cat looks"

I don't blame them, alvin..to a cat this has got to be a terrifying story...to us, we just have a crappy-looking cat...the poor cat (and vain things that they are) has to walk around LOOKING crappy until it grows out...maybe even longer than that...their self-esteem would be shattered...they might even give up their meticulous self-grooming process, you know, "Oh, what's the use?"...I would even go so far as to say it could be considered "catastropic"...and that incompetent cat-groomer sounds like a menace to Feline Society...Yeah, I think there MIGHT be a follow-up piece on this tomorrow...I've even got an OS in mind now...

555. Cats are very vain. I once laughed at a cat who had gotten wet and looked real comical. For 2 years I had a almost bald cat because she licked her fur so obsessively.
PMS, Yeah...I had a cat that used to jump from a couch up onto a formica table all the time...it was about 2 feet higher than the couch and maybe 2 1/2 -3 feet away. She made the jump fairly easily...until...she got PREGNANT...one day she went to make the jump, and even though she was putting a little extra arch into it, came up just a WEE bit short...hit the side of the table and, despite all four paws flailing in desperation, crashed to the carpeted floor...she jumped up, shook of the cobwebs and LOOKED around to see if anyone NOTICED...she looked REAL annoyed that I had been watching...I got the 'Evil Eye' the rest of the day from her...Thanks!

Thanks, Stuart...hey, every Parody-Writer ought to have a cat (or at least have HAD a cat at one-time or another)...great material...I must have at least 10 parodies that I got directly from my old cat, Loki...(if she was still around she would probably want to know where her "Residuals" are...lol...) ~ ~ ~
