Parody Song Title:

The Lyrics

There is an extra syllable, but it seems to flow well with this tune written by the Brothers Gibb.
It's all done in fun
The colon makes two beady eyes :
Oh...........
And here's the big D your grining to
Instead of caption ) right
And the nose is made how ? The dash - of the key stroke
Fear is this fellow =O his mouth's a big o
I'll make you a river ~~~~~~~~~~ which leads to the notion.

When your words just fall apart... you may use punctuation art

It's just Emoicons taking me over
Try them tomorrow It's language faux
Won't you just wink at my smiley face jargon ;-)
You know they'll be some bum (I) left in this world who'll moon tonight
or make some up on your own to your delight
In spite ] :-)
In Fright = O

Well your just a sight
You've over done it at the bar %-(
Oh..........
And if your love is somewhere else
Just send 'em a tiny star *
And a hug is made how? Brackets [ ] embrace you
Tears on a fellow :'{ or an idea that glows ( ! )
Just try to consider this cyber space potion

When your words just fall apart... you may use punctuation art

It's just Emoicon's taking us over
Try them tommorrow It's language is faux
Here some fun facts... fun facts for the modern
You know they'll be nobody left in this world who can type
Nobody left in this world who'll write their strife
In sight 8- )
Delight = D

{ light disco interlude}

Here's Napoleon Bonaparte (Z(:^P
It's just Emoicons taking me over
Try them tomorrow It's language faux
Here's Donald Trump's hat $ =)
and that's Dolly Parton : ) B
You'll know that I'm feeling very whimsical tonight
Or make some up of your own to your delight
Good Night
Sleep tight [ O/< ]

=D , Thanks STG!
Chris: Congratulations on your successful parody! Thought I'd let you in on a little secret. Chucky G posted a thread asking people to refrain from "I'll read yours, and you read mine" type messages in the comments. Good luck with your parody writing. though! =)

Thank you Diva. It's nice to see that some people can see past the fact that I am dedicated to my work and see the parody for what it truely is. Like I said in my "spam", sorry for any inconviences this may have caused. Some people around here just need to grow up. I think most are just jealous of my parody. Once again thank you Diva. And for be so kind, I am going to vote 5-5-5 for your parody.

Very entertaining and enlightening parody, Diva. I like the "tears on a fellow" line best.

Let me just add to my too-short comment from last September by saying that I reeeeally like this. I dig when parodies go "outside the box" and incorporate unexpected elements - in this case, visuals. Excellent concept.

Great job, Diva!

Diva - This one is good (5-5-5) but it didn't do well with me in the Tournament voting because I had never paid much attention (if I could help it) to "Iconic" stuff - possibly an age thing. It took me a few years to get where the "Windows" program Icons didn't annoy me - much of the time I couldn't figure out what the symbols were..."clip boards" always looked like an old-fashioned gas pump to me, "diskettes" looked like Old Philco Television sets. I know what they are now but can't say I've ever gotten too warm and fuzzy about them. Your writing was really sharp and clever here, though.

Seems like I missed this one; maybe that's because I don't know the original song. But I gotta say, I liked the content, so I'll vote 5-5-5 like most of the people who have already voted on this parody.

=D....Thanks for all the positive feedback! This was one of my, all time personal favorites! I'm glad you thought it was fun, too!
