Our trusty old '80 Chevrolet El Camino came to the end of her road - its engine broke for good. Here is a tribute to our old auto. We had it for ten years, and amassed 100 000 of its 300 000 driven kilometres. But my next car will be American as well. I'm strongly for the opinion the Americans should make cars and the Czech should make beer.

I must say "Oh bummer!"

Great parody! 555
The story doesn't end here. An Estonian fellow contacted us today and wanted to buy the wreck. He will change the engine, tune it up and make it a hot-rodder. Since the chassis was in good shape (no rust damage, transmission renewed in 2000, full service 2004), the old Elky is most likely to have a new life as a custom car.
I'm pretty sure you can call a car a "she". Hell, they call choppers "old ladies"...
