Three nights before I wrote this parody, I had a bizarre dream. I was watching "The Simpsons Movie" on the FOX Movie Channel when they broke in with a special report that David Bowie had accidentally killed himself with a staple gun. I was shocked out of my mind!
Watched the Simpsons Movie on FMC
When a special report came and surprised me
David Bowie died in an accident
He shot himself with just a staple gun, but then
I woke up and it was a dream
Thank God it wasn't as real as it seemed!

I'm a casual Bowie fan

But I have no idea just what caused that dream
