I liked him better drunk also...you know a show is really getting old when they make drastic plot changes in every new episode, just like the episode where Barney became sober...that completely wrecked the charactor...but of course, my favorite episode where Barney had to go sober was the New York one...that one was hillarious! Anyway...nice paordy...

Sorry about the...1...2...whatever some-odd months between when you put this out and when I read it but good parody. I thought the main verse should have more kick, but then remembered that this is, if nothing else, a very mellow band.
Pink Floyd historians will also know that when Syd Barrett was well into his acid phase, Roger Waters, Nick Mason and Rick Wright were all beer drinkers, so there is an element of truth in this parody. I also think Bender in 'Futurama' is a sci-fi version of Barney Gumbel - good one!
A show about life in a small town isn't complete without the town drunk and Barney is a funny drunk.
