| Parody Song Title: | "Another Pig in the Wall" |
| Parody Written by: | Rainlight |
It's actually 'Happiest Days of Our Lives' as well as 'ABitW Part 2' but the full title is too long for the box! No slur intended on the vast majority of farmers who are honest and hardworking, etc. It's fiction, remember?
When we worked summers on the farm
there were certain farmers who
would abuse the workers any way they could.
By basing their decisions
about the work we did
upon our hurt and terror
and the pain that they could cause us kids.
But in the town it was well known
that when they got home at night
they’d pork their fat and lardy pigs
within inches of their lives ...
We don’t want to eat no bacon
We don’t want no sausage roll
Not seeing what you do to your swine -
Farmer, leave those pigs alone!
We don’t want to eat no bacon
We don’t want no sausage roll
Not seeing what you do to your swine -
Farmer, leave those pigs alone!
Hey! Farmer! Leave those pigs alone!
All in all you’re just
another pig in the wall -
all in all you’re just
another pig in the wall.
Wrong! Do it again!
What do you mean, the next time you see a pig you hope it’s inflatable?
You! Yes, you in the cowshed!
Stand still laddie!
there were certain farmers who
would abuse the workers any way they could.
By basing their decisions
about the work we did
upon our hurt and terror
and the pain that they could cause us kids.
But in the town it was well known

This could have been good but something about a "pig in the wall" just doesn't scan right. Also verse II makes no sense. Who tortured the pigs and why is that revelent? If one worked on a farm and then went home how would one then torture the pigs that are obviously left on the farm unless the workers brought the pigs home - but why? You lost this reader, sorry. Pacing is decent but that is about it.
