The Lyrics

Floyd is at the peak of his boredom and apathy now. He decides to stay in this new mall, despite his dislike of it. Soon, he starts hanging out with the local "scene" and "emo" kids, just to have someone to talk to, althouhg he secretly despises them as well.
[Spoken outwardly, to the "scene" kids]
Hello? -
Can I hang around with you guys?
I'm tired and apathetic!
And I need something to do.
Come on now,
I see you're feeling - bored
Well you are not alone
I am also boredom-prone
Hang out - we could all hit the food court
Get some drinks, some snacks
All the lines are pretty short

[Thought inwardly, to himself]
These guys are fags, what am I doing?
They're all on Disney*, I'm on Verizon*!
They are only poseurs with no brains!
Their hips show through tight-ass pants; are sagging
If I was their parents, I would'nt let them
Leave the damn house looking like that!
But now I am hanging out with them
I can't explain, nor can I understand
(Now) this is now who I am
I have become...mall-dwelling scum

[Insert one of the most beautiful guitar solos of all time here, as a backdrop to the scene of Floyd and the scene kids he's hanging out with now walking around the Mall, while Floyd has intertwining flashback of his childhood, and the memories therein at the old mall. He is reminded of his humiliation at the hands of the bullies, as well as one time where he was seperated from his mother]

[Outwardly, spoken to the scene kids. They have talked him into going into the mall's piercing salon, where he gets a lip ring The first line is what he is thinking to himself, the rest is spoken]
O.K., just a little pinprick - it won't hurt at al-
Arrrghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! [as the needle is driven in]
Oh my god, you friggin pr*cks! [spoken humoursly to the scene kids]
Can I go now?
I do believe I've had e..nough
I don't wanna look good for no show,
Don't even wanna go [referring to a emo concert they spoke of going to after this all]

[Thought to himself, about the piercing, and what he feels he is becoming....one of them]
This hurts like hell, why did I do that?
Oh well at least I've found a clique that likes me
Though they may be (a) bunch of little fags
My lip moves, but I can't feel when I'm talking
When I was a child,
My mother swore to me -
(She) would kill me for something like this!
I'll try this look, I'll try it on
Might as well, I'm fin'ly accepted now
The child has died, scene kid is here
I have become...mall-dwelling scum

[Floyd gets in a van with the other scene kids, driving away to the emo concert they spoke of. Throught the ride, Floyd is shown rocking back and forth, his appearance peeling away as he rips at it as well, while one of the most emotional solos in history plays in the background. When the van stops at the show, Floyd is now sitting there, in full emo-attire, his apperance radically changed. The din of the audience inside the concert can be heard in the background.]

Cool...you got a little bit of the movie in there, too! What happened to Hey You/ (or did you do that already...forgive me, I don't have time to surf now).
