Song Parodies -> "Goodbye Chain Stores"

Original Song Title:

"Goodbye Cruel World"

Original Performer:

Pink Floyd

Parody Song Title:

"Goodbye Chain Stores"

Parody Written by:

Chris Pollman

The Lyrics

Floyd's final, solemn farewell to all the stores he frequented, as well as the vending stand where we he worked, and the people he befriended there.
Goodbye, chain stores
I'm leaving you today
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye...
Goodbye, all you vendors
There's nothing you could say
To change their minds*
* Meaning his friends could do nothing to change the mall security/manager's mind about Floyd being banned. I know, not much difference from the original, but the shortness of this song makes it somewhat hard to do an involved parody of it.

i read this after the other ones you submitted today. Again, in the context of the storyline, it works.

Your whole concept of The Mall is so absurd! I laughed out loud! 555!
