I was shocked when I found out that Syd had died. It really hit me hard, but I knew he'd one day be the first to go. It was kinda hard for me to write this, because how could I say any of this better than David and Roger did? So I just thought I'd start by rephrasing the original and then find a way to make the song my own.

(SOTM) I didn't vote it high on humor since that was inappropriate. It's a nice tribute. (but you do know that he wasn't on Dark Side Of The Moon, right? He only appeared on Floyd's Piper At The Gates Of Dawn album. Sorry to spoil it for you, just thought you might like to know.)
