Parody Song Title:

"...After Getting Fired"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Floyd cruises the mall one day...Despratley seeking a new job there. He is convinced he will never be able to work anything more than at the mall, espically since he has now become so comfortable with it and the surroundings
I am just a new kid
Stranger to this place*
Where are all the good stores?
Who's gonna come to replace?**
Ooooh, I need a job referral
Ooooh, I need a job today

Will some old woman with a shakey hand
Employ me at her woodwork stand?
Take this suburban trash refugee
Ooooh, maybe set me free

(Floyd's cell phone rings. He ignores it....)
*meaning the mall. note that he now holds a somewhat different perspective of the mall, after being fired. he now slinks around the mall, avoidng contact with any aquaintinces (spelling?) he had made. ** meaning he is wondering who's going to end up replacing him at his old job

"Who's gonna come to replace?" a little awkward, but at least the pacing is spot-on. Maybe you should type up a dialogue for the cell phone moment.
