Parody Song Title:

"Rickshaw"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

what's that man pullin' with his hands ?
it looks a lot like a trike from a foreign land
two skinny wheels empowered by a man
would be...taxi

see that man as he starts to race
nearly as fast as a horse in a steeplechase
he's never reckless...he is blessed with grace
would be...taxi

its a...rickshaw
learned the craft from his pa
got a soft chair
when you're ridin' in there
and its off you go
driver takin' a stroll
through the square
oh yeah

the wheels spin 'round
you streak through town...ok
a vintage hack
you feel relaxed
no tension mounts
you hardly bounce...or sway
fellow just flies
all you see...the back of his thighs

its a...rickshaw
learned the craft from his pa
got a soft chair
when you're ridin' in there
and its off you go
driver takin' a stroll
through the square
oh yeah

in his quaint little' suit
he's preparin' to scoot...through the city
and he'll spring through these tokyo roads
till his feet get quite gritty
as he's flittin' he works off his rear
and with quickness, he bends
hauls this dear ol' coach
so comfortable and painted up, pretty
whistlin'...sizzlin'....works hard !

see that man movin' to and fro
energy level doesn't seem to be runnin' low
he's a wondrous little dynamo
would be...taxi

its a...rickshaw
learned the craft from his pa
got a soft chair
when you're ridin' in there
and its off you go
driver takin' a stroll
through the square
oh yeah

i'm in a...rickshaw
i'm in a...rickshaw

remember i promised you a ride in a rickshaw
well, i found one
we can be the freight...don't be late
we're goin' in a rickshaw

Very cute idea, but it's your pacing that blew me away this time. It's exactly spot-on, I could hear it in my head while I was reading. Color me impressed! 555
